Carola Rafferty

My name is Carola Rafferty and I am the Owner of Carola’s Tax Assistance. Before starting my own business in 2015, I have held various titles from assistant manager, store supervisor and tax school teacher and have more than 14+ years experience in accounting and tax preparation. Over the years, I have been part of several community based organizations and nonprofits including serving as the CFO/Interim CEO of REACH Pikes Peak. Currently I serve as the Treasurer for FVCARES, the Advisory Council Chair for the Fountain Valley  Army and Member of CO SCOPE Community Advisory Panel, EICS Team Lead for the Better Business Bureau, as well as several community strategy teams for the Fountain Valley CTC. As a small business owner myself and a former military spouse for over 12 years, I have first-hand experience with the military life style and enjoy helping others starting their business from idea to success. I love spending my free time with my wonderful husband, our four princesses and three dogs. I am very excited for the future of my business and am very blessed with our wonderful team!


Larissa Villalpando

I was born and raised in Germany, where I obtained a 3 year training and degree as an administrative assistant in Accounting and Logistics. Prior to moving to the US to follow my husband, I was employed at a large international logistics company for 9 years. I have been with Carola’s Tax Assistance since 2019 and have been able to expand my knowledge and collect new experiences as an officer manager, which i am very grateful for. Besides managing the great team of CTA, I strive to provide the best customer service possible to our clients and can assist with bookkeeping, minor tax form filing, scheduling and billing.

Aaliyah Rivera

I was born in Texas but raised all over the States as a military child. I am a mother of three wonderful children. I am looking to expand my knowledge and experience in the administrative assistance field and am grateful to get this opportunity at Carola’s Tax Assistance and work along with the team


Srishti Sherchan

I am an experienced accounting professional with over 6 years of experience in the accounting industry. I am currently working as an accounting manager at a transportation company. Prior to that, I have worked as an auditor and an accountant. In early 2023, I joined Carolas Tax Assistance to provide assistance with tax preparation services. I have always been keen on saving money myself so now I am glad to help our clients with their taxes and save money by not paying more than what’s needed

Charlize Rafferty

Hi! My name is Charlize, and I’m 18 years old. I graduated highschool early and have already received my Annual Filing Season Program certification from the IRS. I have been filing my own taxes as an independent contractor for the last 2 years and it is very important to me that no one pays more taxes than they have to. I look forward to earning your trust along with your returning business with Carola’s Tax Assistance as your tax preparer for the 2023-2024 tax season, teaching workshops for my peers & new business owners in bookkeeping, financial literacy, and tax law.

Maria Gomez

I am based in Hawaii and own a cleaning business. Before joining Carola’s Tax Assistance, I worked with Jackson Hewitt from 2007-2015 and have held various positions including assistant area manager, multiple office manager, human resources and tax preparer

Stephanie Ader

I started learning basic ASL as a young child. When I started high school I started volunteering with the homeless in downtown Los Angeles. I made friends with a deaf person that started teaching me more. Soon enough I had a group of deaf friends that would come to church on the weekends where we formed a small community of deaf friends and ASL interpreters. I worked closely with the interpreters for years. Once I graduated high school, I completed my AA in interpreting and became a Medical interpreter in California. Since moving to Colorado I have met quite a few friends so I am excited to jump back in working with the community

Judy Hill

Hi! My name is Judy and I currently reside in Oklahoma with my son, two horses and two dogs. I have worked in real estate for the last 11 years in various roles as an independent contractor. I have also previously worked for a tax and financial planning firm. I really liked working on the tax portion of it and decided to start doing my own taxes and wanted to expand my knowledge and start doing other peoples taxes as well. I have recently received my Annual Filing Season Program certification from the IRS and look forward to helping as many people as I can! In my spare time I enjoy working with my horses, traveling, and trying new restaurants.
